Danny Vesecky
Danny Vesecky serves as a Research Associate at the Civic Federation, where he assists in the research and analysis of state and local government budgets.
Prior to joining the Civic Federation, Danny worked as an intern with Ballotpedia, where he analyzed local election trends and ensured that accurate records of elections at every level of government were available to the public. He also served as a research assistant at the University of Chicago, where he studied the policy implications of state foster care systems.
Danny holds a B.A. in Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago and a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harris School of Public Policy. During his M.P.P. program, Danny focused on advancing his passion for government efficiency and oversight driven by data by obtaining certifications in Markets and Regulation and in Data Analysis. During his free time, Danny likes to read science fiction novels, play board games, and go for walks by the lake with his dog.
